Events That Fuel the Good Stuff

The Bonner Boys don’t just pass the hat – we throw events that people actually want to attend. Every car that rolls into Elgin Park, every rack of ribs, every tournament bracket is part of how we raise money and keep Uxbridge buzzing.

Cruise-In at Elgin Park

From May through September, Thursday nights at Elgin Park are all about polished chrome, old stories, and that “small-town summer evening” feeling.

Gates open late afternoon and the park fills up with cars, trucks, and bikes – sometimes 150 vehicles, sometimes closer to 400 on a big night.

Theme nights like Ladies’ Night and Appreciation Night keep things fresh, and every burger, drink, and donation helps fund local causes.

Uxbridge Ribfest

A full weekend of music, smoke, sauce, and neighbours. The Bonner Boys have been organising Uxbridge Ribfest since 2015, turning Elgin Park into a festival ground where families can eat, listen, and linger while supporting community projects.

It’s a simple formula: good food, good bands, good company – with the proceeds heading right back into Uxbridge.

Bonner Boys Hockey Tournament

Every spring, the Boys lace up for a tournament that’s as much about stories in the lobby as it is about the scoreboard.

Teams, fans, and families fill the arena, raise funds, and keep the memory of where this all started close to the ice.

More Than Just the Big Three
Over the years, the Boys have helped with:
  • Golf and baseball tournaments

  • Dunk tanks at the Fall Fair

  • Elimination draw nights

  • One-off fundraisers when someone in town needs help

The calendar changes from year to year, but the idea doesn’t: if it brings people together and does some good, we’re interested.
